When you buy these dietary supplements, you know for a fact that the fatty acids have been extracted from green lipped mussels found in the waters of New Zealand. Since the source is New Zealand, you also have a guarantee that the supplements had limited exposure to contaminants, such as mercury, found in other parts of the ocean.
Another big positive is the fact that Omega XL comes in a convenient form, smaller than most fish oil tablets on the market. That way, you won’t have to struggle to swallow a chunky gel cap that risks getting stuck in your throat or esophagus.

That’s not the case with Omega XL. The company actually provides scientific research that proves the benefits of their Omega-3 fatty acid complex.
Are There Any Side Effects?
No, there aren’t any side effects to taking Omega XL. As mentioned above, all the proteins from the green lipped mussels have been removed, so even people with shellfish allergies could take these supplements.
